GOOGLE EARTH

GOOGLE EARTH:

In this familiarization trip, we can understand how the school and community can collaborate to develop knowledge and information about their surroundings.

1. Launch Google Earth on your desktop

2. Familiarize with the controls on the top-right corner (you can also use mouse/keyboard):

a. Rotate [click and drag]

b. Move [Left/Right/Up/Down]

c. Tilt [top slide-bar]

d. Zoom in/out [+/- side-bar OR mouse wheel]


3. Go to the Top-left: Search window.

a. Search for "Jurong Secondary School, Singapore"

b. Navigate, Zoom in/out and click on the various placemarks for more info

Let's go East to Pulau Ubin!

c. Search for "Pulau Ubin, Singapore" or navigate your way there

d. Click on the various placemarks for more info


4. Find your way to "Melbourne, Australia" to discover more about the Most Liveable City in the World! or explore the world on your own.

Hello! this is a test comment. I have tried out Google Earth myself before, and find it really fun to use but it can get quite bandwidth intensive.
